Update day 2

So, meal two was awesome! Baked chicken with 1/2 an apple and of course water! Round 2 of pills was cool, a little bit of nausea but not bad. No jitters but no energy. Meal 3 and round 3 of pills is comin up in an hour or so but I'm not hungry! Idk if I'm gonna take the pills alone because they are making me so nauseous. Maybe I'll just do a small baked or boiled potato with a little pepper like yesterday? Idk we'll see how my stomach feels later. Update you this evening after last meal, last pills and exercise! :)

QT Day 2

Since I forgot to update you after meal 4 / 4th set of pills and exercise...... Fourth meal was ok, I had baked tilapia and steamed broccoli. 4th set of pills was ok, no jitters or anything for a while. I did my exercise after then, showered and went to bed. I woke up about midnight shaking like a crazy and really nauseous. I already know its because of lack of sugar in my diet. Hopefully it will get better.

DAY 2
BREAKFAST TODAY IS SAME AS YESTERDAY, "HIGH CARB" AS PER THE GUIDELINES IN THE BOOKLET. 6 BILED EG WHITE *GAG* AND 1/3 CUP OATMEAL, AGAIN *GAG* OATMEAL WITH NO SUGAR EWWW! SO FAR SO GOOD NO NAUSEA AT ALL, HOPEFULLY IT WILL STAY THAT WAY. NO JITTERS AND YET IN DAY 2 STILL NO POOP FROM YESTERDAYS PILLS. WHAT'S GOIN ON? I SHOULD HAVE POOPED BY NOW.

I READ A COUPLE OF REVIEWS THAT SAID THE PILLS DID NOTHING BUT BACK THEM UP AND THEY WERE 2.5 POUNDS HEAVIER THAN WHEN THEY STARTED. I HOPE THAT'S NOT WHAT'S GOING ON WITH ME, BECAUSE I WILL BE PISSED. ITS ALREADY HARD FOR ME TO SHED WEIGHT, I'LL HAVE A REALLY TOUGH TIME SHEDDING EXTRA WEIGHT. UGH! IDK WE'LL SEE!

I'll update when I do meal 2 pill set 2 and whatever!

Update Day 1

My energy level hasn't changed, the shaking is still here. The cold blood and tingling skin did go away. I'm currently on meal 3/ 3rd set of pills. No nausea... Hopefully it stays that way. Haven't thrown up anymore and still haven't pooped? Have drank much water today, I need to though. Water flushes out your lungs and since this is a cleanse, I need to flush those out asap. Anyways, stay tuned for meal 4/ 4th set of pills and my workout! :)

QT Day 1

I wish I could say so far so good, but not today. After taking the first two am pills I felt really nauseous. The label says if you feel nauseous to take with food, I ate my breakfast. I was fine for a while, until my first set of pm pills.... Maybe about 20 minutes later I was throwing up my breakfast. I had to eat my lunch right away because I was shaking so bad. I am still shaking and it feels like there is stuff crawling under my skin and my blood is cold, but I have more energy than usual. Maybe the day will get better? I HOPE! Nothing has come out the back end yet, but when it does I'm prepared! If any of you are considering taking this 14 day cleanse I think you drink the suggested amount of water, only because when you poop and/or throw up you get really dehydrated. Hopefully my third set of pills and my 3rd meal will go better, maybe this is why you have to eat so much. Maybe throwing up while taking this is all too common?

After the third meal you have 4 hours to wait til 4th meal, I may not do 3rd meal. It just depends how I feel after taking the 3rd set of pills. Idk?!

After 4th meal you wait about 3 hours to exercise and take the 4th set of pills.....

I will update you after 3rd and 4th meal and after exercise.

Does QT really work?




As we all know QT is endorsed by the Kardashian sisters.... Do you trust their opinion??? I don't; but I am tired of carrying around this extra weight so I am here to blog for you and give my honest opinion, without being bribed with money ;). The first step of the program is the 14 day burn and cleanse... It's a two part system consisting of iso-burn am: is supposed to jump start your diet, burn calories by day, and enhance your energy level; iso-cleanse pm: is supposed to cleanse by night, reduces bloating, and helps detox your body...and you also have to follow a daily diet and exercise program. You are supposed to take 8 pills a day. That sounds a bit excessive...what do you think??? 4 meals a day 3 hours apart...exercise in the am and pm...BLAH BLAH BLAH...I'm going to track my progress and keep you updated throughout the day, every day.

The exercise program they suggest doesn't seem like it would work for me, because it doesnt involve much activity. So I decided to take it a step higher and do P90x along with this diet program. Lets see what happens..... WISH ME LUCK!

p.s IF I AM SUCCESSFUL IN THE 14 DAY BURN AND CLEANSE I WILL MOVE ON TO THE NEXT STEP UNTIL I MEET MY GOAL...THE PRODUCT LINE UP GOES AS FOLLOWS.. 14 DAY CLEANSE, EXTREME BURN, CELLUSLIM, AND FAST CLEANSE 48 HOUR DIET... I WONT NEED CELLUSLIM BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE CELLULITE AND IF ALL GOES WELL AS FAR AS "STEP 2" (EXTREME BURN) I WONT NEED THE FAST CLEANSE EITHER....

Margarita Shrimp and Scallops Recipe

Marinade:
4 limes, juiced
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
4 tablespoons gold tequilla
1 tablespoon orange flavored liqueur (recommended: Triple Sec)
2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro leaves
Pinch salt and freshly ground black pepper
12 (U-15) shrimp and 6 very large sea scallops, cut in 1/2 or 12 smaller sea scallops
12 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Salsa:
1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
1 medium mango, peeled and flesh diced
1 tomato, seeded and diced
2 scallions, green part only, diced
1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
1 tablespoon freshly chopped cilantro leaves
1 tablespoon diced Vidalia onion
10 mint leaves, chopped
2 limes, juiced
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for garnish
1 tablespoon mirin
Pinch salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Pink salt, for garnish
First preheat the grill to medium.
Add all the marinade ingredients to a large bowl and stir to combine. Add the shrimp and scallops and set the bowl aside. Next, add all the salsa ingredients to a serving bowl and mix well.
Remove the shrimp and scallops from the marinade. Put a scallop in the 'U' (curved part of the shrimp) of the shrimp and skewer, first through the scallop and then through the shrimp. Arrange the skewers on the hot grill and cook approximately 2 1/2 to 3 minutes on 1 side, then turn and grill for 2 1/2 minutes on the other side. When done, remove the skewers from the grill to a serving dish. Drizzle with some extra-virgin olive oil and sprinkle with pink salt. Serve with the salsa and enjoy!"
